"We found the day trip extremely enjoyable and by far the best way to experience Andalusia, particularly as our timeframes in the region were limited. Aside from the tranquillity and beauty of the Granada region, a further definite plus was our host Geoff - he is encouraging, knowledgeable, personable, and above all patient with us as novices! Highly recommended."

"Great Self-Guided Day Trip
The British-Canadian duo who run Cycling Country were super friendly and really professional. We arranged for two hybrid bikes to do a one-day self-guided tour around Alhama de Granada. They provided us two very nice bikes, helmets, water bottles, repair kit, very detailed directions, an odometer, a map, elevation chart, and a great booklet of local history. They had three routes, 30k, 50k, and I think 100k. I'm an amateur cyclist and I did the 50k. It was challenging because there are lots of low but long hills, but I managed it! The views of the olive groves and distant Sierra Nevadas were really beautiful. Perfect weather in late October, too. I think it was a great value and would definitely recommend them."

"Anyone who enjoys cycling would be foolish to not join up with cycling country in Alhama da Granada. Geoff and Maggie run a brilliant set up with fantastic bicycles, fitted to accommodate all of your whims and they know all about selecting brilliant rides in the region. We were fortunate enough to have Geoff and Javi guide us on three of the 5 days we cycled. Certainly a must to learn the best routes and being educated about the region as well as stopping off at wonderful essential stops for refuelling.
Geoff ensured that we did part of the famous Vuelta cycle race stage.
We wanted a base and had brilliant rides every day. Any lengths are accommodated but you can extend it to 100km with - 1800m climbs!
We were there in mid March with pleasant weather, wonderful views of the snow capped Sierra Navada and a short drive away from a must visit to Granada.
A brilliant week."
